Day 08- Short term goals for this month and why
FINISH THIS SEMESTER.
I hate complaining about school because I actually do love it. I like to learn and I enjoy challenging myself, but I am just so stinkin tired of this particular semester. My classes aren’t ridiculously terrible. I have two challenging classes and three so-so classes, so it’s not like I’m NOT being challenged. I just don’t know why I’m lacking motivation. Whatever. Three weeks left….
Day 07- A picture of someone/something that has the biggest impact on you
Well, I don’t have a picture of this person…at least digitally. My daddy died when I was 8 years old. I hate to admit it, but I don’t remember that much of him. He & my mom split up when I was 2, and my mom moved us to Pittsburgh. I barely saw him since we lived so far away & he was in the Navy. I just remember love…I know he loved me more than I could love him. He always finds ways to remind me of that even now. This is crazy but bear with me:
He was an AMAZING musician & he loved playing the piano. When I was little he always used to play “Don’t Stop Believin” by Journey for me & apparently I would go crazy over it. (Clapping, dancing, and such…) I AM NOT JOKING when I say that I will be deeply upset/confused/just not feeling too good about something & no matter where I am that song will start playing. I have been crying in a school bathroom and someones cell phone went off with that song as the ring tone. It’s weird, it’s crazy, but I treasure it. I always joke around about how I don’t know where my obsession with Journey came from, but I do…it’s just kind of weird to say that “It’s because I think it’s how my dead father reminds me he loves me.”
If I get married, I will walk down the aisle to that song.
Day 06- Favorite super hero and why
….. Because he’s a bad-ass, PERIOD.
Day 05- A picture of somewhere you’ve been to.
VIVA LA MEXICO! The summer after graduation I spent 3 weeks in the beautiful, vibrant country of Mexico. I didn’t stay in a resort & didn’t go down there to party. I worked my butt off & ended up experiencing a wonderful culture. Summer of ‘07 was the best of my life. I can’t wait to go back!
Day 04- A habit that you wish you didn’t have
There’s two that I really want to change:
1. I repeat myself. It’s completely accidental, & I blame it on the fact that my mouth works faster than my head…
2. I trust people easily. I don’t trust everyone, but I tend to trust people fully immediately after I feel as though I know enough about them. I’ve been burned quite a few times. I’m way too much of an open book with people I consider “friends”.

I don’t have one single pic (recent one at least) of all of my friends, so this one is just my best friend and I. We were both heavily intoxicated…
